We are thrilled to finally have a home and place for you to come find us! After 5 years of meal deliveries, community & private events, cooking classes, and private chef engagements, the Conscious Cafe by Saucha is open to serve you!
We have designed a consciously crafted menu based on seasonally available produce and customer favorites, to bring you our approach to conscious eating. Try our house hummus with local veg, our walnut rice sushi, or our loaded sourdough bread. Our team is led by owner and café manager, Mr. Michiel Bush, a beloved familiar face in the Cayman service industry. Since meeting wife and chef, Britta, he has changed his eating habits and has become master of the smoothies.. creating interesting and delicious blends like his signature Green Coffee. Get your vitamins and the caffeine kick!
Introducing our Buddha Bar concept, enabling customers to customize each meal based on individual needs and unique rhythms. Choose your ingredients, decide whether you want it hot or cold... Wraps are coming soon! (Just finalizing what we will be using) We have something for everyone, from savory to sweet. All made with wholesome ingredients and love. Our menu is 95% herbivore and 5% ethical and sustainable omnivore.
For our coffee beans, we partnered with Great Circle Coffee to bring you artisan roasted organic, fair trade beans. Introducing Great Circle's organic espresso blend. Rich, silky bodied, deep chocolate and toasted caramel notes with a hint of spice. Named after their company logo, the GC Heart blend project aims to create fantastic quality espresso utilizing coffees which support meaningful and impactful initiatives. GC Heart is currently comprised of organic certified Cafe Femenino Coffees from the northern region of Perú. While GCH is part of our family of “blend” offerings, we currently utilize coffee from a single producing cooperative in Lambayeque, Perú.

The motto of our café is #peaceloveandfermentation. Bringing the plant-based menu to life in new ways. Infusing our non-gmo popcorn with coconut oil and spirulina to create our Green Popcorn (Now available at select retail partner locations)! Making our chia-pudding from our handmade coconut milk. Daily Locally Grown Soup Specials and Grab and Go Seasonal Salads. House Ferments by the Pound! Fridays we feature Disco Soup, inspired by a Slow Food movement to bring attention to and combat food waste. If you're in the mood for dessert, we have a selection of raw/vegan cheesecakes and we will even let you in a little secret... ask for Britta's signature Triple Chocolate Bomb. Available Gluten-Free, Vegan, or organic conventional upon request. Of course, we have our artisan KOMBUCHA ON TAP! and available by the 1/2 gallon growler.
Our official opening date was October 11th, so we are fine tuning and adjusting every day. We thank you for your support and business in our early days and look forward to welcoming you as we grow and expand! Thanks for being a part of our evolution!
